Are Carbon Credits Slavery?

Do Carbon Credits equal Slavery?
I’ve written about slavery before, that was individual slavery. Today I will make a very few points about our country and all of our people being enslaved by the flimflam better known as “Carbon Offsets”. The Earth has been around longer than humans. There have been many changes on our planet before we were nothing more than a few individuals in the desert. Human kind had nothing to do with neither ice ages nor the end of them. Now a few greedy people want to make everyone to think mankind has more to do with the earths and weather than is logical. These people would have each American, European and anyone living in a first world nation punished for the success we have worked hard for and now enjoy. They fill the weak-minded and the foolish with half of the science story and fear in order to extort treasure from each of us. Don’t think so? Are you paying a higher utility bill? How about more for gas? That is just the beginning, it will cost more for everything and what do we get in return? Demands that we do and spend more for more of the same thing. It doesn't make any scenes. It doesn't add up!

…This sale price is comparable to that set by other carbon retailers in Canada. For example, Offsetters charges $20 or $30 per tonne, Planetair, $33.80 and Less.ca charges $25 or $45 per tonne… http://www.pacificcarbontrust.com/propose-a-project/carbon-offset-pricing-structure/...

Where Does the Carbon Dioxide Really Come From?...
PLIMER: "Okay, here's the bombshell. The volcanic eruption in Iceland, Since its first spewing of volcanic ash has, in just FOUR DAYS, NEGATED EVERY SINGLE EFFORT you have made in the past five years to control CO2 emissions on our planet - all of you…   …it's that vital chemical compound that every plant requires to live and grow and to synthesize into oxygen for us humans and all animal life… …Well, all of those things you have done have all gone down the tubes in just four days. The volcanic ash emitted into the Earth's atmosphere in just four days - yes, FOUR DAYS - by that volcano in Iceland has totally erased every single effort you have made to reduce the evil beast, carbon. And there are around 200 active volcanoes on the planet spewing out this crud at any one time… …that when the volcano Mt Pinatubo erupted in the Philippines in 1991, it spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in all its years on earth.  Yes, folks, Mt Pinatubo was active for over One year - think about it. Of course, I shouldn't spoil this 'touchy-feely tree-hugging' moment and mention the effect of solar and cosmic activity and the well-recognized 800-year global heating and cooling cycle, which keeps happening despite our completely insignificant efforts to affect climate change. And I do wish I had a silver lining to this volcanic ash cloud, but the fact of the matter is that the bush fire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.  Just remember… … 'human-caused' climate-change scenario.   Hey, isn't it interesting how they don't mention ' Global Warming'   anymore, but just ' Climate Change '- you know why? It's because the planet has   COOLED by 0.7 degrees in the past century and these global warming bull artists got caught with their pants down. And, just keep in mind that you might yet have an Emissions Trading Scheme - that whopping new tax - imposed on you that will achieve absolutely nothing except make you poorer. It won't stop any volcanoes from erupting, that's for sure…

I’ve been saying something similar to what's in the proceeding article for years, even caught a “Climate Scientist” at a party for a brief, very brief, discussion on “Global Warming”, “Climate Change” or what ever it’s being called this week. He didn’t seem to like that I knew about the phases of the sun, relative position Earth to the sun. Earths “Warble” on its axis and the cycles of climate on the Earth. Not to mention the volcano's Mt. Etna in Italy, Krakatoa in the Indian Ocean (or at least it used to be) & Mt. Pinatubo in the Philippians and the other ten score plus active volcanoes on our Earth. I really didn't present the limited info I had when He finally threw his hands up a walked away. Was it because the arguments he was using were weak?

Don’t misunderstand me humans make a mess, like a bird defecating in its own nest. But in nature, when the bird leaves, the rain and wind will come and the nest is gone along with the mess. Not to say we can do anything without worry but we shouldn’t take humankind too seriously. Nature doesn’t!

Don’t allow yourself to be enslaved by the corrupt, greedy and evil. They will subjugate if we let them!

United States of America: Conundrum!

United States of America: Conundrum!

The definition of the word conundrum is “something that is puzzling or confusing.”
I received this from a friend then saw it again on a conservative blog.
"Here are six conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it! That, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math."

"These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1 . We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works.

And here's another one worth considering...

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come    we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the    first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it.....

and last but not least,

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Am I the only one missing something?"

It's hard to add anything to the thoughts presented, but I'll try! I'm sure "Politically Incorrect" will rear its ugly head. It usually dose when an honest person speaks there mind.

1. We are all greedy because we want something better for ourselves and our posterity (future generations). 2. The subsidized rent, air conditioned apartment's. People sitting in front of a big, flat screen with cable and an Xbox munching on EBT bought Cheetos. 3. We live in a society that is in the state of perpetual victimization. The only problem is a victim of who and/or what, being given too much? 4. There aren't many in DC I feel represent me & mine so who do they represent? 5. Poor? POOR? There are a few in this country who know poor, but they don't/won't take from the government. (see 2.) 6. If it were so good back where they came from, why did they leave in the first place? Why don't they return there, forthwith?

I know people who come here from foreign lands. They work hard, don't complain while they are trying to fulfill "The American Dream". These people are the ones who I have respect for. My distain is for the ones who have there hands out. The ones who will never be satisfied no matter how much is given them. Respect is something that is earned not something that is given!
